About Paragon Traffic Management

Paragon Traffic Management is a growing, people-led business delivering safe, reliable traffic management solutions nationwide. We’re known for our hands-on approach, strong standards and the way we support both our clients and our teams.

This role offers the chance to step into a key leadership position and help shape the future of our Projects Department.

The Role

We’re looking for two Project Managers to lead our busy Projects Department in Scunthorpe. You’ll take ownership of the planning, coordination and delivery of traffic management projects across both planned and reactive works.

This is a pivotal role where you’ll work closely with senior leadership, guide your team, and ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to a consistently high standard.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll lead and support a team that includes Account Managers, Project Coordinators, Project Assistants and Permits & Licensing Officers, creating a positive, high-performing environment.

You’ll oversee the full project lifecycle — from initial enquiry through to completion — ensuring client requirements, safety standards and legislative compliance are always met. Building strong working relationships with clients, local authorities and internal teams will be a key part of your role, acting as the escalation point when challenges arise.

You’ll also monitor KPIs, report on performance to senior management, and play an active role in improving processes, systems and ways of working to drive efficiency and customer satisfaction.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone with proven experience in project management or coordination, ideally within traffic management, highways, construction or utilities. Strong leadership skills, excellent organisation and confident communication are essential.

A solid understanding of NRSWA, Chapter 8 and traffic management operations is important. A formal project management qualification such as PRINCE2 or APM is beneficial but not essential.

A full UK driving licence is required.

What We Offer

You’ll be joining a forward-thinking company where your input genuinely matters. Benefits include company pension, profit sharing, PerkBox employee discounts, 24/7 GP access, an Employee Assistance Programme, on-site parking, casual dress and a referral scheme.

Ready to Take the Lead?

If you’re looking for a role where you can make an impact, develop your career and help deliver safe, well-run traffic management projects, we’d love to hear from you.

Please note: This role may include additional duties as required to support the business.
